What FundsTech Forum 2025 offers

FundsTech Forum is for operational professionals within fund management and asset servicing, as well as for vendors. Nick Fitzpatrick, Funds Europe editor, said: “Although the Forum will explore developments in ‘trending’ topics such as tokenisation and artificial intelligence,- the event also delves into core technology & operations areas like outsourcing and transfer agency. People will be able to hear about successful outsourcing strategies and we’ll also ask how transfer agency managed to defend itself from disruption.

“We also plan to discuss the importance of the relationship between COOs and CTOs, which is vital for any transformation project to be successful.”

Delegates will be able to hear veteran COO Davina Goodall-Smith, formerly of Nikko Asset Management, bring some insight from her experience of transformation. Asset managers are transforming their businesses to take on the 21st century challenges, which include firms having to cater for an increasingly tech-savvy clientele.

Robert Crossley, vice president of EMEA and APAC industry advisory services at Franklin Templeton, will take part in a discussion on tokenisation and digital assets, and the Forum will also hear viewpoints from the platform sector with Tom Cunningham, head of investment operations & change at the mighty Hargreaves Lansdown, discussing how heritage firms can transform without losing their heritage brand.

FundsTech Forum 2025 is assembling leading figures from the asset management and asset servicing industry and more participants will be announced in the coming weeks.
